Renovation of liturgical equipment

The renovation of liturgical equipment aims to rescue valuable religious art exhibits, as well as objects of religious worship, liturgical vessels, and other equipment used in the celebration of the liturgy. Our bronze workshop in Poznań offers comprehensive renovation and conservation of church accessories, such as glories, pastoral staffs, brass lamps, and chandeliers. We use our knowledge and skills to faithfully reproduce the material of the exhibits entrusted to us. We make every effort to restore them to their original appearance with the utmost care and precision, performing restoration and conservation work on liturgical equipment to restore its former glory.

What does the renovation of sacred accessories involve?

Renovation of sacred accessories can be carried out using various techniques. In our workshop, we perform restorations of items made of brass and bronze. We offer electroplating services, such as gilding, silvering, copper-plating, and galvanoplasty. We specialize in shaping, grinding, and polishing metals, removing patina from brass, as well as applying patina. We also recreate missing parts of sacred accessories, like pastoral staffs or liturgical vessels. We protect sacred vestments from deterioration by applying waxing. We utilize proven techniques, allowing liturgical objects to regain their original aesthetic and functional features.
